Convert .srm to .bin?

Is there way to do this? Been trying to google it but can’t seem to find an answer. Also what type of file does retro use for savestates?

SRM is a saveram… BIN is an old rom format for snes, it’s not possible to convert one into the other

Savestates are instant saves and those are core dependant. I don’t think there is a fixed extension nor a fixed format for these. SRM files are the battery equivalent to the battery saves that console carts used. SRM files may be interchangeable between cores of the same platform since it’s a dump of the actual game save

Well just trying to find a way to play my save file from Legend of Dragoon from Retro on android on my PC. 32 bit retro apparently has problems and yes I ran into them, and bin can’t only be snes because my favorite PSX emulator for PC uses it (psx emulator/psxfin). So, I am pretty much screwed in continuing to play this game? Is there a way to convert it to mcr or whatever epsxe uses? I hate epsxe but im willing to do anything at this point. Literally ordered this game off ebay a week ago only to find my ps2 wont play it. Finally got retroarch for android to play it perfect but now it’s running really bad. Getting really pissed off at this point.

Bin can be a cd image yes. You could use the same core on PC and play it on retroarch… upgrade to 64 bit, 32 bit should be deprecated anyway. Not sure if PCSX-R core is available on windows
