1.21.0 is the reported frontend (RetroArch) version, not the core version.
The reported core version is 8f1f3601, which is the current latest commit in the repo, which is rebased to 2.2.3.
So they have the numbers and letters instead of saying Version Number?
that’s a git commit hash. Some cores report version numbers, some git hash. It depends on how they’re published/developed as to what’s the most useful number.
Is there a Way to Check that?
