Hi guys, I hope I’ve come to the right place to ask some questions about the fabulous RetroArch/LibRetro emulator system. I’ve been into emulation for a looong time and I can say that RA is really great in its approach. Keep up the good work!
I am using Windows 10.
I have a question concerning the names of the “named_boxart”, with names that have special characters like “:” in them. For instance Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour (Europe). I don’t know what name I should give to the .PNG file in order to have it displayed on the RA menu, because the filename should exactly match the game name but it is not possible to put “:” in a Windows filename. I have tried “Mario Golf Toadstool Tour (Europe).png” and “Mario Golf - Toadstool Tour (Europe).png” and “Mario Golf-Toadstool Tour (Europe).png” but this doesn’t work.
All other boxart is displaying fine, the problem is only with the special characters.
Can you help out?
