CPS3 games crash with FBA core on Shield TV

Hi everybody,

Retroarch is fantastic for a lot of games but I have a lot of issues with CPS3 roms (maybe CPS2 ?). They all made retroarch crash after a few seconds (black screen). Anyone has the same problem ?

I used the right roms which work well on aFBA but I’d like to use retroarch… FYI, I tried with Red Earth, Jojo’s Bizzare adventure and Street Fighter 3 third Strike… they all crashed with retroarch (and FBA Core).

I have Retroarch 1.7.O, with FBA Core (i’ve already tried with Mame Core and other version of roms without success :frowning: ) and a Shield TV (2017).

I just loaded up third strike on my shield with FBA no problem.

Could you tell me which version of the rom you used ?

I tried for weeks searching in forum and roms sites but I just got it work only on aFBA… I tried again in Retroarch and it still crash. I will try to reinstall the core or the app :confused:

md5sum of the working ROM is d9ca8bd52b9f2d52416a873a7d803c7a

If you google ‘fba roms’ the first hit is usually pretty good.

I finally managed to make it work after re-downloading the FBA core file. It’s a bit strange but it works.
