Hi, it looks like this game doesn’t work without some kind of audio option present in another emulator called SPUsync. I tried to load the ISO multiple times with several settings, but still does not work, and worse, there is no SPU option. Any idea how to get this game working? (US copy)
Crash Team Racing works on my end. Windows 64.
What version are you running? There’s huge differences between versions of RA.
First off, which core are you using?
Second, which version of RetroArch is this? As in - which platform?
You left out a lot of crucial details in your first post.
I am using the Android version from the Play Store, using the pcsx-reloaded core, The game starts with only 2 screens and then it goes black.
Are you using a real BIOS and did you put that inside your system directory?
If you’re unsure then the answer is likely no. HLE BIOS compatibility (ie. without real BIOS file) is pretty poor, and it will not run a lot of games. So to be able to run all games, you need to put a BIOS file inside your system directory.
I think the manual and the built-in help system explains how to do this. You can tell it has found a real BIOS after it no longer gives a warning when loading a PS1 ISO at startup.
