Create new controller configuration

Hi, I bought an N64 USB controller supposedly made by iNNEXT from Amazon. It’s named “Generic USB Joystick” in Windows and Retroarch detects it as a Retrolink N64 USB controller and it works.

The problem I have is, the A and B buttons are wrong. it’s using the Xbox button layout as a template where B is on the right and Y is on top.

So what I need to do currently is configure B as A and Y as B to make it work, but that messes up other controllers like my DS4 for example and I can only fully navigate Retroarch using the keyboard.

So my question is, how do I create a new configuration specific to my controller without it being detected as a Retrolink N64 controller? What I want is a new file I can save somewhere and drop into Retroarch whenever I make a new installation.
