Hi, I wonder if anyone could help me I have been trying out shaders on my I pad and I tried CRT-geom-flat-glsl but when I use it I notice that the scanline effect you get with it goes down the screen instead of across the screen. Is it meant to go down the screen or across like normal scanlines, is there anyway I can change it so the lines go across the screen. Thank you for any help I may receive in advance. Daniel.
I’m not able to reproduce this issue (I don’t have an iPad to really test it), but does it do it in both portrait and landscape orientations?
If both, there’s unfortunately not a simple way to rotate the scanlines, since they’re more complex than typical scanline filters/shaders. Speaking of, do others like scanline.cg appear the wrong direction, as well?
Hey thanks for your reply, it happens in both orientations. If I use the normal scanlines they go the right way but are very thick and blurry so don’t really give the right effect.
Hmm. One other option is to try the ntsc-gauss-pass.cg from inside the NTSC shader’s directory. It has some nice-looking scanlines that are similar to the ones from cgwg’s CRT.
