Custom Bind for the Back Button on Android?

Minor feature request, is there any chance/ability to have a custom bind for the back button on Android?

This would allow one to access the TV mode menu (with the appropriate back behavior set) to access the save/load state and reset/quit options etc all from one of the configured controllers.

I use a Logitech F710 which has a center button (much like the PSX button on the PS3 pad) which would work well for a back button bind (saving the use of an additional input device to achieve this - e.g. android remote/keyboard).

Thanks for your time and efforts.

Custom binds for fast forward, opening RGUI and all other system functions would be nice in Android.

+1 on this feature request!

I’m using a 6 Button Sega Genesis controller with the USB RetroPad Adapter (http://www.brunofreitas.com/node/41) on the OUYA and there’s no way to go back once you select a game when using custom binds.

It would be great to be possible to map a button combination to the back button in the custom binds config screen.

All inputs should be mappable from RGUI on all platforms starting on next version… BUT Android is a bit late there, it’s input driver needs a refactor and it won’t be ready on time for next release from what I’ve asked around

Yes, the Android input driver needs to be refactored badly.

This will likely happen in time for 1.0.0.3 / 1.0.0.4 - it’s quite a big undertaking.
