I would like to set gamepad menu combo to Live (9) button. Is that possible?
Now, only way to use Live button is to set hotkey, but hotkeys allways enabled is not ok with spectrum, as I need keyboard, and using toggle button for them is ridiculous when gamepad used
No, the combos have to be hardcoded. You could use a config override for the spectrum core to disable the hotkey bind for that core only, but that would leave you with no way to get into the menu.
Why not have one more option in next release then? Live button is pretty generic, not only 360 gamepad has it
You can already assign the menu toggle to the xbox button, if that’s what you mean.
Another option is something like Xpadder.
I have a number of custom hotkeys: Select+Y pulls up the menu. Select+Start exits the game Select+B resets the game Select+Right Fast Forwards Select+Left Rewinds Select+LT loads state Select+RT saves state
I even have it setup to play music with winamp in the background R3+A plays R3+RB next song R3+LB previous song
I won’t go into every hotkey I have, but it’s an option if you want some extra versatility.
