D3D11 questions

Hi. The new D3D11 video driver seems to do wonders with “Mednafen Saturn” and “Beetle PSX”. But I have some trouble with it.

Black screenshot with video_gpu_screenshot = “true”. Setting this to false makes screenshot works properly.

Many “FB Alpha” games gets rotated 90 degrees. No workaround found.

Genesis Plus GX - Game Gear and Master System games gets a wide screen treatment despite: aspect_ratio_index = “0” video_aspect_ratio = “1.330000” No permanent workaround found. But entering the menu and pressing accept-bottom on “Config Aspect Ratio” makes the game 4:3.

PPSSPP, Reicast, Mupen64Plus OpenGL and Citra crashes on launch. No workaround found (probably not yet compatible (using gl for now)).

All those cores you mentioned require the usage of OpenGL, so the Direct3D 11 driver simply cannot work with them. You will have to change back to the GL driver in order to use those cores.

As for screenshot support - I don’t think it’s currently implemented for the D3D11 driver.

Any hopes for core updates to work with D3D11 or “on the fly, no reboot” video-driver change?
