Do cheats work with the Mednafen PC Engine core?

I’ve played around with the cheat interface, and tried entering some cheats for Ronda of Blood that I’ve seen in a few different formats but it doesn’t seem to work.

I was unable to confirm via some googling if retroarch supports cheats throught the Mednagen core or not…

It looks like cheats are hooked up in the libretro.cpp file but I haven’t used them myself to be able to say definitively that they work.

work for me in ios.

I have not been able to use cheats with this core on my Coolpad Suva on Android 10. Anyone got any ideas?
