Don't Pause when Inactive setting doesn't work for me

Anyone else have an issue with that setting? For me i have “Pause when Inactive” set to OFF, but retroarch seems to ignore the setting and pause emulation. I tried on multiple cores to see if that was it, and I tried ON in case for some reason something got reversed, but nothing seems to change. It’s pretty minor honestly, it’s just nice to be able to unfocus during long cutscenes is all. Wondering if this is on my end or if other people have this problem too.

EDIT; I decided to recompile RA because my version was pretty old at this point, and it seemed to fix this version as a consequence!
