Dotmask shader in Retroarch - Can it be replicated in MAME?

I like the dotmask CRT shader in Retroarch. Is there a way to make this in MAME 0.200, maybe with the HLSL settings in the mame.ini file or something? Any suggestions? Thanks!

It can be replicated in MAME, sure. Probably easiest to do it with their bgfx backend, though, which supports shaders that are similar in capabilities to ours.
