Hello.
Today I tried to update via built-in updater, it failed. I tried to download new version from site, but links are broken as well. Where can I download latest version?
Which version are you after exactly, might I ask?
Windows, 32-bit. But they are all broken. I tried:
http://themaister.net/ssnes-dl/ssnes-win32-0.9.5.zip http://themaister.net/ssnes-dl/ssnes-win64-0.9.5.zip http://themaister.net/retroarch-dl/retroarch-win32-0.9.5.zip http://themaister.net/retroarch-dl/retroarch-win64-0.9.5.zip
All showing 404 error.
Yeah, I was going to ask about the Windows binaries. Are there any working mirrors for them?
They are in the retroarch-dl directory, but with the ssnes-*.zip file names.
D’oh! Thanks kode54!
Are there any working download links for RetroArch’s Windows binaries?
No. The SSNES updater doesn’t work anymore so I can’t get the libsnes cores, and SSNES isn’t able to use the libretro cores. I need either a version of RetroArch set up to use libretro (and presumably with a working updater), or a mirror for the most recent versions of all the libsnes cores (both x86 and x64).
The retroarch-dl directory contains everything, I think.
The retroarch-dl directory has SSNES 0.9.5, which throws me an error code when I try to run games using the libretro cores. As stated before I either need a version of the emulator that can run the libretro cores, or a mirror for the libsnes cores.
Oops, I see there hasn’t been a formal release of RetroArch yet. So for now, you’ll have to make do with SSNES 0.9.5 and whatever cores you already have.
As SSNES is going through a transitional period to RetroArch, stuff is broken in binary releases. The updater is set up for retroarch now, so if you’ll have to build RetroArch/RetroArch-Phoenix from Git until 0.9.6 to use it.
EDIT: Put up builds for 0.9.6 beta1 on site. Should help.
