Dunno with NDS Core

Hi there, i am playing “Pokemon Platino” (European with Spanish version of game), its working fine in the start of the game. but i wanna know if possible assign to my Xbox360 Gamepad. some shortcut to Quick Swich between Top Screen and Bottom Screen , because i ever playing with Top Screen Mode.

I an dont know what to do the “Quick Swich” option . because when i activated, and try to use , changes between Top Screen and a Blank Screen (The Bottom Screen have image) incluse during Battles when i must touch the center of pokeball to start battle.

You can change the quick switch binding from the controls menu (quick menu > controls). Quick switch works for me in the quick switch mode as well as the hybrid modes, not the simple top/bottom screen modes. For me, the quick switch button just doesn’t do anything in that mode. You can change it in quick menu > options.

Do you still have the problem in the hybrid modes? Maybe try updating the core if it’s been a while, though I don’t know if this was ever a common issue. Also try with default core options if you’ve bumped the internal resolution etc. just in case (shouldn’t affect screen layouts but you never know).

Well instead i need quick simple swap between top and bottom screens. because i never play with two screens on emulator because on my pc looks strange some kind aspect ratio 2:8 cropped on 16:12 xD ( But if i capture the screen looks fine on the image :v but not during gameplay )

Strange, I don’t have any aspect ratio problems with the DS. You could try setting the aspect ratio to “core provided”, if it’s not already. As for your original problem, if the other things don’t give you any ideas, try the latest nightly and a fresh config (if you’ve been using a nightly, try the latest stable). If anything changes, let us know. Sadly, there’s not much else I can think of for troubleshooting; core options like these tend to work without too many problems, since they are written into the core and can be tested more easily than the generalized libretro features afaik.
