How to import emulationstation xml file on Retroarch playlist ?

To what purpose? The game descriptions aren’t supported and Retroarch can simply scan your folders to create a playlist.

The retroarch playlist is good but it lacks many features
But importing an Emulationstation playlist into a RetroArch playlist just means converting the formats. In the end you end up with a RetroArch playlist. If the RetroArch playlist lacks features you want to have, they won’t magically be available just because you converted a file format.

So you want to split up the playlist into multiple playlists all themed around the genre?
There are probably plenty of such tools, I never used any of them. Maybe this one does the job: https://github.com/samuelgaming22/es-to-ra-converter
