ERROR: Failed to locate FBO functions

Hello everyone

I’m hecluro and I’m writing from Spain.

I’m facing the error: “Failed to locate FBO functions. Won’t be able to use render-to-texture.” when trying to load/apply any shader in Retroarch 1.0.0.2

I think that the problem is due to I’m using an old GPU (Geforce Go 7900GS) which only supports OpenGL 2.1, I read somewhere else that the FBO functions are not in Opengl 2.1 “core”, they are part of the extensions. So, I guess that my GPU doesn’t support this extension.

So, at this point, I cannot use any shader.

Is there any configuration tip/trick that I can do in order to use shaders (or some shaders at least)? Maybe there will be some change in 1.1 in this matter?

As workaround I found out that I can use overlays at least for scanline effects, the same as usual for Wii or other low-power systems,

If there is any tip or trick for letting me using the shadders it will be very welcome
