I’m glad to have found this forum. I have an Evercade with EverSD with RetroArch 1.9.0. I bought the game “vvvvvv” and would like to play the game with RetroArch. Is it possible? Found a YouTube video, it worked, I don’t understand how? Which core?
latest - buildbot.libretro.com > nightly > linux > armv7-neon-hf > latest
I assume they are running the native Linux version of the game. So… no core.
As to how they set it up, you’ll have to do some research. 
Thanks for the answer. It’s a shame that RetroArch can’t fire the game natively. I will continue to research, but I’m not good enough in linux. The Evercade firmware is inaccessible to me. Thank you
The game will need to be ported to Libretro API if you want to be able to launch it with RetroArch.

Retro Arch looks like this on my Evercade…
But the GUI can also look like this, how did he do it? 
It has RetroArch output via HDMI. My screen stays black when I start RetroArch, why?
