So, when exerting with start + select on any(?) mame core the mame UI some times show up and then exit. But sometimes it dose not exit and the UI show up and some times it locks up at “initializing” and I have to alt+f4?
This is not the UI that show up when you press tab. It’s somthing els.
It appears to be the mame main menu I’m encountering. So I’m guessing my start select, kills the game and that in turns bring me to the mame menu.
I need to go in to the controls so that start select is not used by the emulator to exit games.
Solved by turning of pressing Esc twice to exit. This option can be found under input (controller icon)
My thought are that the confirmation that briefly appears when you press select + start gave room for the mame menu to launch.
