Exodus' CRT TV's Overlays Collection (With Day and Night support)

Hey @jordanwalkert. My image share was over three years ago, so I do not remember how I got it  If you share here the image you want to use (the one with the watermark) I could try doing some image reverse engineering and find an HQ one over the internet.

Thanks for getting back to me! I know it’s been awhile. Attached is the image that I was referencing that I believe was originally modified by you. With the red light modifications. Then below that is a link to a high res source of what image I believe was used to create these modifications. I have no problem buying the image below, I just prefer the edit you did with the slightly darker image looking like the red lights are on and I need higher res than the 1600x1080. Let me know if you are able to figure it out, thanks so much!

No problem. I am not too sure I understand what you need, hehe. Here is the original image in 1080p: https://forums.libretro.com/uploads/default/original/2X/c/c7a7d2a31e893b61f5f6d63121a5416edd7da2f2.jpeg

Is this what you need? Or do you want this image but with the red light and number 3 in it? If so, let me know and I can easily modify it.

Kondorito, I am actually trying to create a 4K version of this. 3840x2160 resolution. I posted the link above that has the original stock image in full res, and I was wondering if I purchased it, could it be modified to look like the one you edited with the red light and number 3 etc. If so, let me know and I can get you the full res version. Thanks!

Ah, got it. I don’t remember making those changes myself, but they are easily done. You can provide me the image and I’ll make the red light and the number 3 just like that.

Hey Bryan, I contacted you on Facebook as I wasn’t sure the protocol of posting a purchased image here for public view and I didn’t know how to contact you privately. Let me know if you saw my message, otherwise I can post the image here if you prefer. Thanks man!

I really like the commodore monitors. They look awesome. I have an Amstrad CTM 644 colour monitor here & I don’t see an overlay using one anywhere. I could take some snaps if anybody’s interested in making one? Just tell me the best way to do it for the best quality. What do you need

Hello there. I couldn’t help but notice that when it comes to overlays and shaders, there’s a big lack in PAL support.

To commemorate this a bit, I’d like to post a bunch of Philips TV Renders I ripped directly from their Indian Philips site (they still sell them over there) there’s 9 of them in total, but I can only upload 1 image for at least a preview:

Here’s also the links to where I got them from: ==https://images.philips.com/is/image/PhilipsConsumer/21PT3428_V7-IMS-en_IN?$pnglarge$&wid=2500 https://images.philips.com/is/image/PhilipsConsumer/21PT4525_V7-IMS-en_IN?$pnglarge$&wid=2500 ==https://images.philips.com/is/image/PhilipsConsumer/21PT3326_V7-IMS-en_IN?$pnglarge$&wid=2500 ==http://images.philips.com/is/image/PhilipsConsumer/14PT4525_V7-IMS-en_IN?wid=2500&$pnglarge$ ==http://images.philips.com/is/image/PhilipsConsumer/14PT2307_V7-IMS-en_IN?$pnglarge$&wid=2500 ==https://images.philips.com/is/image/PhilipsConsumer/21PT4326_V7-IMS-en_IN?$pnglarge$&wid=5000 ==https://images.philips.com/is/image/PhilipsConsumer/21PT3527_V7-IMS-en_IN?$pnglarge$&wid=2500 ==https://images.philips.com/is/image/PhilipsConsumer/21PT3525_V7-IMS-en_IN?$pnglarge$&wid=2500 ==https://images.philips.com/is/image/PhilipsConsumer/20PT9007D_17-IMS-en_US?$pnglarge$&wid=2500

And the ZIP attachment with the PNGs and WEBPs (for anybody to screw around with):

Now that I can finally post more photos, I’d like to preview the other 8 of them:

Link to them is in the previous post…

Hi, where did you get that 960 figure from? The nes has 256 horizontal resolution 256 x 3 = 768

720 is correct, the nes has 240 vertical resolution 240 x 3 = 720

Sure - it’s how crt tvs actually worked with nes and snes image - they have been stretching horizontal part to make it 4:3. For game developers it sometimes meant that they need to draw a vertical oval to make it look like a circle when players see that on their TVs. You can find more about by searching for “nes aspect ratio”, eg. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/916396-super-nintendo/77113211 Using a 720 horizontal as a starting point, horizontals would be 720*4/3=960 That’s essentially the same as 4:3 mode in nes and snes classic, as well as in virtual console on Nintendo consoles (eg 3ds)

Hello Exodus, Sorry for the newbie question how do I install this on my Streamlabs twitch page on Mac? Im confused here

Hey. I’m just wondering why these weren’t designed to use Integer Scale? Integer scale works best with CRT shaders so I thought bezels were then used to hide black area caused by Integer Scale?

Wow this is lovely, I may try doing a vector retracing!!!

Hi, I’ve created custom bezels using one of your frames. I’d like to share them more widely but figured I’d ask first

@lukeskope Has you made more consoles with this style?
