Fast forward not as fast as Epsxe using Beetle

Hello I have been trying many settings turning them on and off and I can only achieve max 130 FPS using fast forward. I want to at least get 200 or more if possible. On Epsxe I have the opposite issue where I actually have to limit the speed to 250. My settings on Epsxe is all maxed out but on Beetle its at the lowest settings to just get 130 FPS.

I can run Beetle on very high settings with 60 FPS no problem there but if I do that fast forward only takes me to about 65 FPS lol… but I obviously know why.

Any thoughts?

My PC specs below,

Operating System Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU Intel Core i7 940 @ 2.93GHz Bloomfield 45nm Technology RAM 12.0GB Triple-Channel DDR3 @ 534MHz (8-8-8-20) Motherboard ASUSTeK Computer INC. P6T (LGA1366) Graphics W2343 (1920x1080@59Hz) 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (Gigabyte)

Beetle-psx is slower than ePSXe, no doubt about it. It’s also more accurate.

Yea I figured as much.

I guess if I am looking for best possible quality go no further then Retroarch but in terms of speeding up your game to get through grinding faster etc… I can use ePSXe or PCSXR - I actually find these 2 emulators to be almost completely identical. Except PCSXR is currently active and being updated.

Regardless Retroarch is still a pretty cool emulator none the less. I was just curious maybe if anyone knew of something I didnt.
