Favorites not saving from menu

Using the latest Retroarch on Windows and I noticed the favorites are not saving from the menu. However, it will save when saving from the Quick Menu when the game is loaded.

I’m having the exact same issue. Can’t add to favorites unless I launch the game first then add it from the quick menu while in game.

Even if I launch a game first then exit it and try to add it to favorites it won’t work. The game has to be loaded as I do it.

There is an issue about it. For now, the core needs be loaded so that you can add it to Favorites.

Ahh. Ok. Thank you. I thought there might be but I was on my phone and I hate searching through github from my phone.

Yes i agree searching through github can be a nightmare!
