FBA Multiple Button Presses on 1 Input

Sorry if this is easy or been asked before, I spent hours and cannot find a recent answer to this question. I mostly use Retroarch for Neo Geo games. I cannot find a way to make buttons like AB, CD, ABC, etc to bind to 1 controller button. I see screenshots of Quick Menus with this option but everyone refers to lr_fbaphla. My Retroarch does not have that, I have tried every FBA and FBNeo core and they are all the same when in Quick Menu. How do I assign these buttons or do I need to find an old build with old cores that support it?

It was removed from the core awhile back because it should be handled by the frontend instead of the core. However, the frontend (in this case, RetroArch) doesn’t support it either :confused:

Thanks for the info! That sucks though, hope they add it in someday.
