Hi guys, I’ve been having a hard time finding any info on this. I used to run FBA on PS3 and had a good romset to go with it, but most roms don’t work anymore so it’s time to update.
I downloaded the current version of FBA for PC, 2.97.24 I believe and a rom (Espgaluda v1.00). Works great on PC. I loaded the game to my roms folder, found it in RetroArch and clicked “X”. At this point it crashes to the PS3 Dash.
Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?

0.2.97.24 is definitely not current at this point - the FBA libretro port is at 0.2.97.26 right now - and even that is outdated now that 0.2.97.27 is out.
Unfortunately, FBA keeps syncing all their ROMs to the latest MAME romsets so it’s a bit hard to keep up with them with each new release - ROMs keep changing.
Thanks, Squarepusher. When I get home I’m gonna check the current PC release, clean out the roms, data and settings for RetroArch and add just a the single rom to a fresh install and see if it plays, or crashes to dash.
I’ll also test it out on the 0.2.97.26 PC build to verify working first.
