Forgive me if this has already been asked for or discussed, I’m new here…
I’ve been looking all over for a SNES emulator with “toggle keys” option.
Basically what it comes down to is, I’ve adjusted to playing most games on a touchscreen quite well. I’ve played through games on many systems like the NES, SNES, N64, PSX and SCUMMVM without too many issues.
However, most platforming games, especially the SNES ones, I just can’t seem to adjust to. The main reason is because I have to hold the run button down most of the time but then precisely press the jump button at the same time or right after. Switching from the run to jump button is awkward for these quick reaction games.
So I’m wondering if it would be possible to add a toggle option for this situation? Perhaps another onscreen button that lets you toggle B or whatever other button, so it’s always pressed down, but I could also tap it again to turn it off for when I need to walk instead of run?
I know it may seem like a silly option but it would be awesome for SMW and the DKC games!
Thanks!
