FF6 Crashing from map world

I’m running into an issue while playing Final Fantasy VI Advance on the VBA-Next core where if I dismount a chocobo, retroarch crashes. Flying around in the airship and then changing screens also crashes retroarch. Are there any work arounds for this? I have tried some minor things, but am not too skilled at knowing the technical “why” this might be happening.

I would recommend trying it in mgba, which should be as fast or faster than VBA-Next and a lot more accurate.

Will my save files be usable from one core to the other?

Possibly. If not immediately, there might be an easy-ish conversion. I haven’t tried it, personally.

Yeah, VBA-GX isn’t really that great in terms of stability, mGBA is more stable and faster, let us know when you test it ^^
