Final Fantasy XI Port Request

Hello! I just discovered the Amazing Retroarch :slight_smile: I was wondering, is it possible to port a pc mmorpg to retroarch?

More specifically: I have searched the net for awhile for a way to run final fantasy xi on android. I’ve tried various methods and all have failed to present any hope of working.

I know the game is fairly old and outdated graphic wise so I was hoping it could run on my nexus 6.

Does anyone know if this is possible? Can retroarch emulate x86 on ARM?

If not, would a ps2 emulator with online capability be possible (ffxi was designed to be cross platform compatible with ps2)?

Only things with available source code can be ported to libretro. There is a Dosbox core, but it only runs DOS games, not semi-modern Windows ones. Dunno about the PS2 emu thing, but there’s not a PS2 core and there are no plans to port one at the moment.
