Flycast crashing on Switch

Hi there,

Just trying to figure out how to fix Flycast crashing on boot. Here are the details and what I’ve tried.

  • Micro SD card is Sandisk in FAT32 from a reputable source.

  • Switch system version 7.0.1

  • Running via SXOS v3.0.5

  • Fresh RetroArch v1.9.14 install

  • Attempt to load .chd .cue / bin Both .chd and .cue/.bin load OK on Windows x64 Retroarch using Flycast core, so suggests the files are fine.

  • Both get to the SEGA boot image then crash with “the software was closed because an error occurred”

  • Using hbmenu v3.5.0

  • Running in full RAM mode.

  • Updated core info files.

  • Updated assets.

  • Update Flycast core, from the bundled version (0.1 041297c) to (0.1 1475db7)

  • Tried using no BIOS

  • Tried using: “\retroarch\cores\system\dc\dc_boot.bin” MD5: E10C53C2F8B90BAB96EAD2D368858623 When loading with DC BIOS, it doesn’t make it as far as the SEGA screen, it crashes straight away.
