I’ve started running into problems with RetroArch’s Flycast core out of the blue today. Up until now, I’ve been able to close and switch between games seamlessly via playlists, but now Flycast is the only core that seems to crash RetroAch when I either close the game I’m playing or switch to a different playlist.
My attempts to resolve this has been:
- Reinstalling/deleting the core and its contents completely.
- Restoring default settings and playing from there.
- Deleting any “reicast” settings in “retroarch-core-options.cfg”
- Ensure that I had “dc_boot.bin” and “dc_flash.bin” in system folder.
- Ensuring “Rewind” is set to OFF.
- Setting RetroArch’s “V-Sync” and “Threaded Video” both on and off.
- Setting Flycast’s “Threaded Video” both on and off.
After many attempts, I’m finally stumped as to what may have caused this issue. I’ve included a debug log on my current version of Flycast (0.1 b12f372) as of 8/22/2020. If I could get any help narrowing down what the issue could be, it would be appreciated.
