I was trying Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Revival and Street Fighter Alpha 3 for GBA and I’d like to try these using 6 buttons. The control scheme of these games allow 2 buttons to simulate a given move, for example, weak and strong punch (B+L in the GBA handheld) is a medium punch, A+R is a medium kick. Is there any way to assign 1 button to simulate 2 pressed buttons in the same time while keeping the others the way they are? X could be weak punch, Y medium and L strong punch, A, B and R low, medium and high kick, assuming it’s an xbox gamepad.
You can do it with overlays but other than that, no. You’ll have to use an outside program like joy2key or autohotkey or something to set up the macros.
Joy2key is your best bet. If you are using Rocket launcher, you can set up a specific profile per game.
OK, I’ll try xpadder as I already use it and will post the results soon, thanks guys.
