Game really too fast, how to slow down

Hello,

I run Retropie on my raspberry pie and use Retro arch to play to games On some emulators, I’ve a problem. I use retroarch on gb, nes, snes and genesis and all games are a fast. (Mario run, Round time in street fighter is fast ans music on some games confirm that.) How can I fix this time issue ? How to slow down games ? Could you help me with that ?

thanks

That likely means that vsync isn’t enabled. Does the problem persist if you move/rename your retroarch.cfg (that is, go back to default settings)?

retroarch.cfg video_vsync = true You can find my file here: https://mega.co.nz/#!RMo2SKhK!pguGdEf2W … Gi2Let0wxo

Thanks for the help if you can find something to help me.

Someone on an other forum tell me that the problem is because I play on European version. I tried to play on USA version like Super Mario Bros. (JU) [!].nes or Super Mario Kart (U) [!].smc the speed is correct.

How can I change that ? For some game, that is not a problem (95%) but for other as Pokemon or Zelda where there is a lot of text that is needed to be understand, I think it will be better in French.

Ah, yeah, that’s just an unfortunate reality of 60 hz monitors running 50 fps games. If you can set your monitor to run at 50 hz, you may have better luck, though you may have audio crackles.

Exactly, Yesterday when I try a US version I had a audio crack. Is there a way to force 50hz in configuration files (Retroarch or Retropie) ?
