GameGear games crashing on Nvidia Shield?

Hi All,

New here and am in absolute love with Retroarch, it an my Nvidia Shield are best friends.

I am having a slight issue with Game Gear games, they always load just fine in Genesis Plus GX but once you get to the playable part it promptly crashes. (Game Gear doesn’t seem to load in Pico at all, but it may not support it, not sure). Genesis games however works just fine in both.

Any ideas? I tried changing all kinds of settings to experiment in both the core settings and general settings but haven’t had any luck.

I’m using the latest update in Nvidia shield android update.

And thanks again to the developers of Retroarch for easily one of the most entertaining apps in history :slight_smile:

Same happens to Mastersystem Games. There’s something broken as it used to work in previous versions and there weren’t any changes made in the cores for sms/gg emulation.

I’m suffering the same issue when trying to play Ax Battler on my JXD S7800B. Do we know if the issue is being looked into?
