Games not visible in RGUI

Yes, they are unzipped. :stuck_out_tongue:

I am trying to get Retroarch set up on Ubuntu 12.04. When I go to load content in RGUI, none of my games actually show up (SNES in this case). Re-choosing the core doesn’t help either. The weird thing is that the games work perfectly fine if loaded with Retroarch-Phoenix (except for aspect-ratio locking being ignored, but that’s for another thread), so it isn’t incompatibility/bad files/ownership.

I’m not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions?

So you’re able to navigate to the correct folder, but RGUI does not show the files that should be there? What format are the games in? Are they compressed?

.smc and .sfc format, uncompressed.

Be sure you have the *.info files corresponding to your cores and their path correctly entered in retroarch.cfg. Those are the ones telling which rom format gets recognized. (talking from windows version here, hope that’s the same)
