Setting “video output resolution” to my native resolution (1080p), and setting “retroarch render resolution” to “use output” causes the screen to be completely black although I still hear sound from the game.
This is with Genesis plus gx. Meanwhile, picodrive is still doing something weird with crop overscan.
Even starting over with a fresh config, Genesis plus gx is giving me a black screen, like it’s not switching video modes properly. If I restart my system completely, the problem goes away. But if I alter any video settings and then restart gen plus gx, the problem comes back.
