Glide 64 nowhere to be found?

Hello everyone. I hope my “new guy” question is welcome here.

I did search for the answer here but couldn’t find it. But when I first fired up the Mupen64 plugin I remember in the drivers menu I was able to change the video plugin. Maybe I’ve gone crazy but I only see the gl plugin anymore. The glide 64 plugin doesn’t appear.

I don’t know if it’s related but the n64 graphics appear to be software rendered. I care less about that and actually kind of like the effect of it.

What in the world am I missing?

The N64 core’s video plugins can be changed in the core options, but only after you’ve loaded a game. You can also change the internal resolution there, if you like.

Fantastic. Thank you so much. I’m still trying to get to grips as this is quite different from what I’m used to. I believe I now know everything I need to know to get the most out of this according to my purposes, and the flexibility really is wonderful. Thank you.
