Use the mame cores in RetroArch, is there a guide to calibrate the guns as my crosshairs are WAY off to my mouse cursor and would like to know how to correct that. I have tried the menus in RA as well as the in game menus and it is utterly confusing on how to do it.
Any help would be appreciated.

Make sure your mouse is configured as a lightgun/pointer device, not as a mouse/trackball device. Lightgun/pointer mode should directly translate/inject onscreen coordinates into ingame coordinates, while the other mode is just like using a plain stick, making things usually way off. You probably want the lightgun/pointer mode.
The method will probably differ from a core to another, and some mame cores might not even support this at all.
