Downloaded this emu in hopes of being able to replay some old pokemon and final fantasy games. The gbc and gba cores work great. The pcsx core, however, I just cannot get to work properly. I’m trying to run ff7 on it and every time I select the pcsx core my screen flashes a navy blueish color and my ipad 4 reboots. I’m pretty sure I’ve set everything up correctly. I followed a tutorial on youtube that was posted by the user “iDeviceMovies” and his worked. I’m pretty sure I have the correct BIOS files, scph1001/5500/5502/7502.bin. I know my ROM is not corrupted or anything because it ran on psx4all, albeit very poorly. Everything in that emu is choppy and kind of slow. It had awful sound quality, a bit of lag, and I guess you could call the other problem “screen tearing”. Overall it sucks ass which is why I refuse to use it to replay ff7. I believe I saw someone with a post further down that had the same problem but nobody answered it so I figured I’d repost it because I’m fairly certain that I am not the only one having this problem. Any help is appreciated!
I just tested it on my iPad mini 6.1 and it seems to run completely fine. ff7 never looked and sounded to good. I don’t think it would really make a difference, but have you checked the “core info” for the reARMed core? I put it in manually through there and it turned blue for me.
