Hey guys. I am trying to try out MAME in RetroArch for the first time, mostly because of shaders. My romset is 0.175 and unfortunately the core is 0.174, but that’s ok for now. My issue is by default MAME is at too low of a resolution and I am wondering where you put a mame.ini or how you use this thing exactly?
http://i.imgur.com/mLow4kE.png I can’t read the MAME menu at the moment but I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction to set this up properly to try some games. I guess I just need to know where to put ini or config files. I assume the resolution reads off of that since it looks like it is displaying in original arcade game resolution. Thanks in advance.
I hope rom scanning will be added soon for MAME? There is no way you can load content manually for 30,000 games with original zip filenames and know what games are what most of the time. I guess the best option at the moment would be configuring MAME with RetroArch on Launchbox or something.
