How can i show system icons like in this video?

as topic title,in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XK3RTlQPak0 at 6:34 (but also later)there are system divided by icons, and games listed with corresponding icons.

how can i do that on the windows version?

…anyone?

settings > menu > XMB theme. I think he’s using ‘retroactive’.

ok thanks i just did that, but what i also meant is,how did this guy managed to have all those tabs divided by system,i:e he goes to nes,and he has a drop down menu with nes games with icons etc

That’s done by using “Add Content” -> “Scan Directory” and having the no-intro sets.

i see.just by doing that will get those icons\system automatucally?or do i have to do something extra?

You will get the icon automatically. Mind you that “Add Content” might not do anything unless you have a core for said system. So if you want to create playlist for NES games, you will need an NES core already.

At least that was the case for me.

perfect it did work.

one last thing:in said video some games have a small snapshot preview on the right.where\how do i set those?

i mean iknow about the folder and the settings etc,but the images themselves, which naming convention do they use?

The name of the image has to match the name of the game in Retroarch exactly.
