Installed 1.3.6 on the Asus Tinkerboard but can’t seem to get 1.5.0 do I need to compile from source? I used the ppa for 1.3.6
It looks like the testing PPA should have armhf packages for 1.5.0 for Trusty, Xenial, Yakkety and Zesty: https://launchpad.net/~libretro/+archive/ubuntu/testing/+packages?field.name_filter=retroarch&field.status_filter=published&field.series_filter=
So I’m installing like this
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libretro/testing sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install retroarch
But I still only get 1.3.6
Any suggestions?
Which Ubuntu release are you on? You can try downloading and installing the deb package directly: https://launchpad.net/~libretro/+archive/ubuntu/testing/+files/retroarch-dbg_1.5.0-r201704250417-b495d85-63~ubuntu14.04.1_armhf.deb
