How do I change analogue sensitivity on Mupen64 core?

Everything works perfectly in mupen64, and I love the option of having the CRT filters, the dev team did a really great job with retroarch!

The only crucial feature I’m missing is a way to control the analogue stick sensitivity, usually used to make the character sneak or for precise aiming. I’m using a keyboard, I couldn’t even find an option in the menus or .cfg file to change the analogue pressure. Any help would be appreciated.

There’s no way to set your keyboard to do less than 100% that I know of. However, you can turn on a control overlay with an analog stick and use the mouse to push the stick for analog movement.

from what your describing. it sounds like you mean dead zone not sensitivity. Anyway there is actually a feature to adjust it in the latest revisions in the core options. You’ll either have to compile it yourself or use one of the test build to get it though since its not in the latest stable release.

he is using a keyboard, that’s not a deadzone issue.

Yeah, that’s not really a deadzone issue. I want the game to think I’m pushing the stick only half way through and not all the way, a deadzone wouldn’t even register any analog input at all.

But thanks any way, I’ll look into the mouse overlay thing.

It might be doable but not without coding, there is no current solution for this. To be honest, the best option is to get a DS3/XBOX 360 controller, those are cheap enough and a perfect fit for RA
