How do I decrement values in settings?

Observe this screenshot. For instance, say I had to go up to Monitor Index 2 for some reason. Is there any way to return to Monitor Index 1 or 0? The only action I’m allowed to take here is to tap it again, which will increase it by one with seemingly no upper bound. I’ve also observed this problem for other fields, like refresh rate. The only way to fix this then, if you have no backup config saved, is to completely uninstall the app in order to get a default config again. I tried manually editing the config file but for some reason that didn’t seem to take.

yeah, it’s a problem. The easiest thing, I think, is to disable ‘hide overlay in menu’ or whatever it’s called so that you can use the onscreen gamepad controls to set the value.
