I’m trying to connect GameCube controllers to RetroArch. I have A GameCube adapter and that connects to Dolphin perfectly but I don’t know how to connect it to RetroArch. Any help appreciated. Thanks in Advance.

You need some sort of driver for it, since I don’t think it presents itself as a normal HID device. You need something like this: https://github.com/ToadKing/wii-u-gc-adapter (linux) http://m4sv.com/page/wii-u-gcn-usb-driver (Windows) Dolphin has these things built-in, I think.
I’m still having trouble connecting the controller to Retro, but the gamecube controller works on Project 64, and I have been using vJoySetup and the GCN adapter you linked in, so i’m not sure if I need to use Dolphin, I hope you understand what I’m trying to say, I’m not good with this type of stuff.

It recognizes vJoy devices, mapped to the ports, but the button configuration is wrong and I can’t get ti tto work right.
