Loading a NES core has option to button turbo fire for both 2 buttons. I not see that feature in others cores. How enable turbo fire for others cores ?
Those individual turbo buttons have to be programmed into the core. Typically, the only cores that have them are ones that have extra buttons available for the purpose.
RetroArch has its own turbo-fire setting, but it’s admittedly a bit awkward to use vs the core-based turbos.
“RetroArch has its own turbo-fire setting, but it’s admittedly a bit awkward to use vs the core-based turbos.” Where is that setting ?
settings > input > turbo fire
settings > input > turbo fire is displayed only a button (B) after in core input controls assign button not is displayed any turbo fire.
Unhappily Retroarch lacks two details in input controls being today default for several emulators :
- multiple assign to same key, For user using cores from A2600 to SNES with Playstation controllers will have 2 button free. The user assing a combo button to button free in controller thus first button free maybe B+A+L1 and second button free X+Y+R1 or even others button combo.
- Not is possible enable turbo fire for all buttons for some cores from A2600 to SNES.
Perhaps implement in Retroarch both features above are simple.
