How is RetroArch on IOS?

Been looking to upgrade my ancient iPhone 5 for a week or so. Hard to decide what Droid to get since there are like 400 million to choose from lol. I found a cheap 6s plus new in box (less than $150 CAD shipped)

Do retro achievements work on it? Shaders? Altstore ok to use, or do you need to jailbreak?

I believe the alt store should work fine, as should shaders. Iā€™m not sure about retro-achievements.
