How to add game specific controls?

Hi all, I’m using Retroarch to emulate an Atari 2600 and I’ve set it to run in Hyperspin with RocketLauncher.

I have the global keys file in the /config folder.

I read on GitHub that it’s possible to have a keys file for a specific game but GitHub references a /config/all folder and some other stuff that I don’t have?

Could someone please clarify how I would set up a game specific config file?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Load up some content that you want to have a game-specific control setup for, go back into the quick menu and then go to ‘controls’. This should list all of the core’s buttons and your gamepad’s (or the retropad’s, if you’re using the keyboard or an unrecognized gamepad) and you can re-assign the core’s buttons to whichever button you prefer. Once you get it how you like it, use the ‘save game remap file’ from the ‘controls’ menu and it will load those control settings up whenever you load that game.

That’s brilliant hunter. Thanks for your help. I’ll give that a try :grinning:
