Hello, i use the newest Retroarch version with ResSwitch and the new overlays just dont fit the theme of the rGUI at all…is there a way to switch back to the old ones?

can you post a screenshot of what you mean?
I can do it after work. Im talking about those info panels…like “setting refreshrate to 60.0000000hz” etc…they were in plain and simple text (with retro font?) before but now pop up in fancy text boxes (or something).
They look rather out of place on the XMB layout too so I don’t blame you for wanting to switch them back…
oh gotcha. Those are called ‘menu widgets’. You can disable them to go back to the old notifications. Should be in settings > onscreen display > onscreen notifications.
