Hi, new to Retroarch, and was wondering what the best way to configure cores individually. Should i enable 'configuration per core, ’ or ‘load override files automatically’ i have read that both shouldn’t be enabled at the same time. Thank you.
Overrides are generally simpler and more reliable/predictable, so that’s probably your best bet. It takes a little more manual effort, poking around in text files, but once you get the hang of it, it’s generally easier to get the results you want.
Thanks for the reply. I have no problem with configuration files, as long as i know the format/commands. I like tinkering with that stuff. I guess that’s why ‘configuration per core’ was disabled and ‘load override files automatically’ was enabled by default. But i just wanted to make sure. Thanks again.
