How to decompress SRM for other emulators?

After turning on SaveRAM compression in Retroarch, is it possible to decompress it in order to use in another core/emulator? I knew turning it on would restrict save conversions, and may turn it off in the future.

For example, after saving a compressed SRM file for a game in BeetlePSX, is it possible to decompress it to use in Duckstation?

[EDIT] For those with the same question, it is possible to turn off the compression, and re-save the game (at least it worked with BeetlePSX).
