How to get Game Genie Codes work on RetroArch?

I was trying to use 1 for Pokemon Trading Card for GBC.

But its a Game Genie Code so I read Game Genie don’t work on RetroArch.

So I was wondering can I get them to work with/on RetroArch?

Also can Add Codes not present from BSFree, CodeJunkies, CodeTwink, and GameHacking.

Just have to add them Correctly into each .cht File. Best to use NotePad++
